For this Minnesota Ferrari Owner's Club event, we based ourselves a stone's throw away from the Burj Khalifa in Dubai for a week of experiencing the many unique aspects of the Middle East capped off with the Formula 1 season finale in Abu Dhabi.

Our first official "Dubai" experience was a private dinner on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world. The following day we took in a full Bedouin experience which was SO much more interesting than we expected and we ended our Dubai activities with a sunset yacht tour of the Dubai marina. In between all that, there was plenty of shopping to be had at the Dubai Mall, multiple visits to souks, the Palm and of course, a visit to Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi!

The Grand Prix weekend was the best one we've experienced to date. Half of our group took advantage of our connection with the Abu Dhabi Ferrari Owner's Club and joined their VIP suite for the weekend - two of them even joined the official Parade of Ferraris from Ferrari of Dubai to the track! The facilities at the track are incredible and the post-event concerts made a great event even better. Our whole group were happy to let Maroon 5 and Eminem contribute to our weekend hearing loss!

While Ferrari put on a great charge to challenge for the win and the Constructor's championship, the McLaren fans in the group were happy to be present to watch McLaren's Lando Norris take home the win, and with it, the first Constructor's Championship for McLaren since 1998!
