Starting in Turin to visit Fiat and the museums associated with the brand was a great way to start this motoring tip. Following Turin, we made the trek to Stuttgart to visit the Porsche & Mercedes museums before heading for the former Formula 1 track at Hockenheim, where we talked our way into a private Ferrari Challenge test day. From there we made a stop at the Technikmuseum Sinsheim - one of the most incredible transportation museums in the world. From Europe's largest collection of Grand Prix cars to the Concorde and Tupolev Tu-144 on the roof, it had everything!

Our hotel at the Nurburgring is next to the Grand Prix racetrack which made for great viewing of the current & vintage GT racing that was happening that weekend when we weren't doing laps of the famous Nordschleife in a Volkswagen! From the Nurburgring, we took off to Switzerland, with a stop for lunch in Strasbourg, France, for a few days in the Alps to take in the Axalp air show - one of the most incredible experiences ever - and a great way to wrap up an incredible trip!
